What exactly does GrabMyBin do?
We bring your trash and recycling bins to the curb before pickup, and depending on your subscription, we also return them back to their original spot after collection, you will never have to worry about trash day again.
What if I am located outside of the service area?
If you are located outside our service area please reach out to us for special quoting. We aim to work with our customers to provide a good price for our customers.
Does GrabMyBin offer any bin cleaning?
Yes! We offer bin cleaning services where we power wash and sanitize your bins leaving them smelling fresh. You can add this to your plan if you’d like both handling and cleaning.
Does GrabMyBin Dump dirty water in the street?
Absolutely not! We value the environement and properly dispose the water once the cleaning is finished in an EPA approved location.
What if my trash bin is behind a gate or in the backyard?
That’s no problem, just let us know when you fill out the signup form. We’re authorized to access backyards when needed, as long as it's safe and there are no free-roaming animals that may interfere.
Do I need to be home for you to take my bins out or to clean my bins?
Not at all. As long as we have access to the bins, payment has been agreed on, and there are no obstructions or safety issues, we’ll handle the job for you.
How do I choose/change my scent for cleanings?
During checkout you will be able to choose your scent. Any change in scent will require communitcation with your dedicated Grab My Bin associate. If no scent has been chosen, we will reach out before hand. If no response we will apply a favorable scent by default.
What if I have extra trash that doesn’t fit in the bin for Trash Day Valet?
We’ll take extra bagged trash placed next to the bin. We do not handle loose or unpackaged trash, and we are not responsible if the city doesn’t pick up the extra bags.
How early do you take the bins out and when do you bring them back?
We typically take bins out the evening before or early morning of trash day and return them after the trash has been picked up usually within a few hours of collection.
What if I go on vacation or don’t need service for a week?
Reach out to us so we can schedule according to when you're on vacation.
What if there’s bad weather (rain, snow, wind)?
We operate in most weather conditions. In extreme cases where service isn’t safe or possible, we’ll notify you. If you have a bin cleaning service on the day of extreme weather, we will reschedule as needed with no extra charge.
Can you handle recycling bins too?
Yes, we handle all city-issued bins, including trash, recycling, and green waste. Just let us know which bins you want serviced.
Do you have a free trial so I can test out the service first
Yes, we offer a 2 week free trial for Trash Day Valet. For 2 weeks we will show up to your house and take your bins to the curb and back for free
Is it ok if my pet is out and about when you come for my bins?
We ask that any animals that may interfere with the service please be kept tied up or physically separated by either being kept inside or put in a kennel for the safety of our team. Any houses with a free-roaming animal that interfere with the service will not be serviced.
What if my bin can't be accessed or I accidentally leave my pet outside?
In the event we can't access your bin for any reason, GrabMyBin will make a reasonable attempt to contact the phone number that's on file to let you know the issue. If the issue gets fixed right away, we will continue the service like normal.
